The invention discloses a pure traditional Chinese medicine preparation used for treating alopecia, which comprises the following raw materials by weight: 3-6 parts of Sichuan pepper, 20-25 parts of Psoralea corylifolia, 4-8 parts of isatis root and 60-70 parts of 75% of ethanol. In the invention, each pure traditional Chinese medicine enables supplement each other, and has efficacy for treating alopecia. The pure traditional Chinese medicine preparation has no nontoxic and side effect, and has good curative effect. The clinical observation for 86 patients proves that the cure rate is 40 (accounts for 46.5%), the effectual rate is 45 (accounts for 52.3%), inefficiency rate is 1, and the total efficiency is 98.8%.
