Abstract

The invention discloses a speckle-pattern-based method for calibrating a monocular measurement system. The method comprises the following steps: calibration plate image collection, calibration plate image detection, speckle pattern collection, projector calibration image generation, and self-calibration of a measurement system formed by a single camera and a projector. The invention also discloses a calibration device. The calibration device comprises a digital grating projector (1), an industrial charge-coupled device (CCD) camera (3), and a computer (5), wherein the computer comprises an image collection control unit, a projector projection control unit, a calibration plate image detection unit and a camera parameter calibration unit. By adopting the method and the device, the high-accuracy calibration on the monocular measurement system can be quickly and efficiently finished, and the method and the device have the characteristics of being simple and convenient to operate, practical, flexible, and accurate and reliable in result.
