The method comprises the steps of constructing an initial velocity model representing formation velocity, utilizing the initial velocity model for positioning, and obtaining the initial position of a micro-earthquake event; according to the three-dimensional distribution of the initial position of the micro-earthquake event, calculating the enveloping surface of the micro-earthquake event, wherein space inside the enveloping surface is a fracture belt; obtaining the velocity equivalent of the fracture belt, wherein the velocity equivalent of the fracture belt can represent real-time changes of the formation velocity in the fracture process; according to the velocity equivalent of the fracture belt, and the spatial distribution of the fracture belt, updating the initial velocity model, and obtaining the updated velocity model; utilizing the updated velocity model for positioning, and obtaining the position of the micro-earthquake event. According to the micro-earthquake positioning method and device, the updated velocity model takes the factor of the real-time changes of the formation velocity in the fracture process into consideration, and the result of positioning through the updated velocity model is higher in accuracy and reliability.
