A vehicle network monitoring system based on a Beidou positioning system is disclosed. The vehicle network monitoring system comprises a vehicle-mounted terminal, a monitoring platform in a monitoring center, a data server, the Beidou positioning system, and a communication network. The vehicle-mounted terminal comprises a GPS/Beidou compatible vehicle-mounted terminal. A digital electronic recording device capable of recording and storing the vehicle driving speed, time, the mileage and other vehicle-driving-related status information and achieving data output through interfaces is disposed in the GPS/Beidou compatible vehicle-mounted terminal. A Beidou bimodule positioning module and a GPRS/CDMA/3G communication module are integrated in the Beidou compatible vehicle-mounted terminal. Related information of a vehicle at present is accessed into the internet through a mobile communication network, accessed into the monitoring platform, and monitored by the monitoring platform. The monitoring center and a secondary platform with a fire protection wall are connected by the internet. The secondary platform is provided with a server farm so as to provide could services for users.
