Water hyacinths used as aquatic plants with strong dirt removing power are selected as floating island plants to construct an ecological water hyacinth floating island; aeration equipment provides oxygen for the ecological floating island so that water body oxygen deficiency caused by excessive oxygen consumption generated under the breathing actions of the water hyacinths is avoided; solar energy used as a green energy source provides energy for an aeration pump, and an external power source is not needed, so that the aeration pump can be conveniently moved to a place which is polluted to the maximum extent; light porous suspended ceramsites are used as microbial carriers, and a great number of aerobic bacterial communities are propagated on the microbial carriers under an aeration condition, so that the black and odor phenomena caused by anaerobic decomposition are avoided; and due to the adoption of a specific grid structure, the separation of roots and stem leaves of the water hyacinths, the resource utilization of the stem leaves and the harmless treatment of the roots are conveniently realized, and the secondary pollution problem of the water hyacinths can be avoided.
