Abstract

The embodiment of the present invention discloses method and system for transmitting user identity information when accessing WAP application, wherein the method comprises: a PDSN receives an authentication pass message with an MDN included therein returning from an AAA system after the user of a mobile terminal passes the authentication; the PDSN forwards the authentication pass message to the mobile terminal; the mobile terminal conducts IPCP negotiation with the PDSN; the PDSN assigns an IP address for the user of the mobile terminal and establishes a corresponding relation between the IP address and the MDN; the mobile terminal sends an HTTP access request message with an IP address included therein to a WAP gateway; the PDSN acquires the MDN corresponding to the IP address in the HTTP access request message from the corresponding relation maintained by itself and inserts into the HTTP access request message, and then forwards the HTTP access request message to the WAP gateway; and the WAP gateway forwards the HTTP access request message with the MDN inserted to an application server.
