Abstract

Each embodiment of the invention provides a signal coding and decoding method. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a flashing signal which comprises a binary code in the form of a gray scale image, wherein the binary code is a code based on the flashing time length and interval of flashing equipment; calculating the brightness value of an area in each frame of picture in the gray scale image of the received signal; and resolving corresponding information of the binary code based on the brightness value changes of the frames of the gray scale image.
