Abstract

The invention relates to an internal combustion. A crank case is formed by a rear wall (10) storing a first crank shaft bearing (7), an integrated peripheral wall (11) and a front part (20). In order to provide a simple and cheap structure, the front part (20) is provided with matching surfaces (26, 29) on its upper and lower sides. The matching surfaces (26, 29) are abutted to abut-joint faces (27, 30) of the peripheral wall (11). The front part (20) is provided with a vertical through hole (32) used for a bolt (33) which penetrates through a bottom wall (12), a through hole (32) and a top wall (15) and then reaches in a cylinder body (1). Bearings used for the crank shaft (3), a cam shaft (4) and balance shafts (40, 41) are provided in the front part (20). Corresponding gears are provided before the front part (20).
