Abstract

A liquid accumulator for a refrigerant compressor in refrigeration cycle equipment comprises a sealed container, wherein the upper end of the sealed container is provided with a first fluid passageway communicated with an evaporator outlet, and the lower end of the sealed container is provided with a third fluid passageway communicated with a compressor suction pipe. A partition board is fixedly arranged in the sealed container to divide the interior of the sealed container into a liquid accumulation chamber on the upper portion and an anechoic chamber on the lower portion, and the liquid accumulation chamber is provided with a first fluid passageway communicated with the exterior. A communication second fluid passageway is arranged between the liquid accumulation chamber and the anechoic chamber of the sealed container, and the anechoic chamber of the sealed container is provided with the third fluid passageway communicated with the exterior. The sealed container is divided into the two chambers, and the inner diameter of the passageway between the two chambers is increased, and the length of a gas passageway is reduced, so that the refrigerating capacity loss of the compressor is reduced.
