Problems solved by technology

Because the fused image obtained by this method changes the brightness elements of the image, and ignores the chromaticity elements of the visible light image during the image restoration process, resulting in color distortion of the fused image, which may lead to misjudgment of temperature by inspectors in severe cases

Embodiment Construction

[0024] The multi-scale gradient domain image fusion algorithm provided by the present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0025]

[0026] figure 1 It is a flow chart of the multi-scale gradient domain image fusion algorithm.

[0027] like figure 1 As shown, the multi-scale gradient domain image fusion algorithm includes the following steps:

[0028] Step S-1, constructing a gradient field. The gradient value of the image represents the texture feature of the image, and the larger the gradient value, the more obvious the details of the image. The gradient vector field is composed of the gradient of each pixel of the grayscale image. Let the grayscale image be I(x,y), and the feature information of the grayscale image is represented by the gradient as: ▿ I = [ ∂ I ∂ ...

Abstract

The invention provides a multi-scale gradient domain image fusion algorithm which is used for fusing infrared thermal images with visible light images. The multi-scale gradient domain image fusion algorithm is characterized by comprising the following steps: a step of constructing gradient fields; a step of correcting gradient fusion weight; a step of reconstructing gradient fields; and a step of fusing images through a transparency method. The multi-scale gradient domain image fusion algorithm provided by the invention can be used for simultaneously reserving temperature rise areas and detail information of infrared thermal images and visible light images, removing a halation background-effect phenomenon and redundant information due to interaction among images and avoiding color inconsistency of an infrared thermal image temperature rise area.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to computer algorithms, in particular to a multi-scale gradient domain image fusion algorithm based on structure tensor. Background technique [0002] Infrared thermal imaging technology can effectively detect thermal hidden dangers of equipment, upgrade the maintenance of electrical equipment to the detection of equipment status process, and ensure the reliability of power supply and electricity consumption, so it is widely used in real-time monitoring of electrical equipment. Infrared thermal imaging technology collects infrared radiation through an infrared thermal imager, converts it into a temperature field, and then presents a thermal image distribution map of an object. The thermal image distribution map can instantly visualize the temperature field information, clearly and intuitively distinguish the temperature situation in the high temperature area, but it will cause the loss of image detail information in the non-high t...
