Abstract

The invention discloses a method for testing the original water saturation of a sealed coring irregular full-diameter rock sample. The method comprises the following steps: (1) weighing an irregular wax-sealed rock core taken from a job site, and determining the appearance volume of the wax-sealed rock core; (2) determining the volume of wax used for sealing the rock core; (3) putting the rock core without wax into an extraction device, and heating the rock core at 380 DEG C for extraction until the water volume in a condenser pipe is not increased anymore; (4) taking the rock core out, cleaning, drying and weighing the rock core, and calculating the density of the full-diameter rock core; (5) cutting the two ends of the irregular full-diameter rock core, and calculating the volume of the full-diameter rock core; (6) performing porosity test on the full-diameter rock core after cutting to determine the porosity of the rock core, and calculating the pore volume; (7) calculating the volume of water contained in a rock block which is obtained after cutting off end surface parts of the irregular full-diameter rock core; and (8) calculating the water saturation of the full-diameter rock core.
