Embodiment Construction

[0036] In the following description, the present invention will be further explained in detail in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific implementation methods. It should be appreciated, however, that the invention is not limited to this application, but is applicable to many other types and uses of image processing.

[0037] Such as figure 1 Shown is a schematic diagram of the overall process of image restoration in the present invention. Among them, Φ is the known area; Ω is the image defect area; is the boundary of the image defect area; ψ p is the target block to be repaired, ψ q for possible matching blocks. The specific repair steps are as follows.

[0038] Step 1: Determine the boundary of the image defect area if If it is empty, the repair process ends.

[0039] Step 2: Defect area boundary For each pixel point p on , calculate its priority function value. The present invention proposes a new priority function for determining the order of...

Abstract

The invention relates to an image repairing method based on sample structure consistency. The image repairing method comprises the following steps: determining an image defect area boundary (the symbol of which is shown in the description) and calculating a priority function value of each pixel point p on the image defect area boundary; selecting the pixel point (p') with a maximum priority value P(p) from the pixel points on the image defect area boundary and then finding matching blocks which is the most similar to a target block (psi p') in a known image area; finding the optimal matching block (psi q') and then enabling unknown pixel points in the target block (psi p') to be filled with corresponding pixel values in the optimal matching block (psi q'); updating the confidence of the filled pixel points; repeating the above steps till the defect area is completely filled.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of image processing, and in particular relates to a new image restoration method based on sample structure consistency. Background technique [0002] Image restoration is an ancient technique that dates back to the Renaissance era, when artists used their experience to restore damaged and precious works of art. With the rapid development of modern computer science and digital image processing technology, the research on image restoration methods has attracted the attention of many scholars. Through digital image restoration technology, people can restore old photos, movies and oil paintings without professional skills; they can also remove text and occlusions on photos. [0003] Image inpainting is an unsolved problem because it does not have a well-defined solution. In order to recover the information of the lost area, we assume that the pixels in the known area and the pixels in the unknown area have the...
