The line breakage detection unit detects trace current in a circuit under detection, through volt-ampere characteristics of a triode and through the control center, thereby judging line breakage of a transmission line; once line breakage occurs, a ranging alarm is given out fast, and thus, economic loss is reduced and mistaken alarming of the existing detection circuit is avoided; the circuit is simple, and the problem that the prior cable anti-theft device is high in false alarm rate is solved.
