Abstract

A composite single screw expander comprises a conical shell (2) and a screw rotor located in the conical shell (2), wherein the small-diameter end of the conical shell (2) is provided with a small-diameter end opening (3), the large-diameter end of the conical shell (2) is provided with a large-diameter end opening (1), and the screw rotor is composed of a shaft (6), a cone (5) and a thread (4). The two ends of the shaft (6) penetrate through the small-diameter end opening (3) and the large-diameter end opening (1) respectively, the cone (5) is fixed on the shaft (6) or is of an integrated structure with the shaft (6), the small-diameter end of the cone (5) is located at the side of the small-diameter end opening (3), the large-diameter end of the cone (5) is located at the side of the large-diameter end opening (1), and the thread (4) is formed in the cone (5); the thread interval of the thread (4) is gradually increased from the small-diameter end to the large-diameter end of the cone. Fluid flows and expands in the turbine expander to drive the rotor to rotate, and therefore enthalpy drop is converted to mechanical energy to be output through the shaft (6).
