The device comprises a thermostat, wherein a water tank and a coal sample tank which are connected through a pipeline are arranged in the thermostat; an electromagnetic oven is arranged on the lower part of the water tank; the water inlet of the water tank is connected with a water adding device; a balance is arranged on the lower part of the coal sample tank; the coal sample tank is connected with a vacuum pump through a pipeline; the thermostat, the electromagnetic oven, the balance and the vacuum pump are connected with a control system through data lines respectively. The device is capable of directly testing the water contents of the coal samples, humidifying the coal samples through the test data set by a computer, and controlling the various components through the control system when the coal samples achieve the requirements of the test data, and thus preparing the needed coal samples; in the way, the technical problem of control of an experiment on the different needs of the water contents is solved, the sample preparation efficiency can be increased, and the sample preparation accuracy requirements can be met.
