The present invention discloses a system for realizing an IEC61850 station level communication protocol based on a socket and ASN.1. The system comprises a network message receiving module, an MMS (Microsoft Media Server) protocol module, an IEC61850 information model module and a network message sending module, wherein the network message receiving module stores communication data; the MMS protocol module reads the communication data and decodes the communication data into an MMS object and an MMS service; and the IEC61850 information model module analyzes the decoded communication data for generating an IEC61850 information model of a device. The MMS object and the MMS service of the IEC61850 information model of the device are mapped into the MMS protocol module. The MMS protocol module encapsulates the mapped MMS object and the MMS service as an MMS message. The MMS message is sent to an Ethernet through the network message sending module.
