Abstract

The invention discloses a method for coordinated regulation of growth of lawn grass by adoption of oxytetracycline (OTC) and compost. The method utilizes OTC and municipal solid waste compost for cooperation so as to inhibit growth of lawn grass and reduce cutting cost. A container equipped with 125g garden soil, 25g compost and 20mmol / kg OTC is partially sprinkled with 0.25g tall fescue seeds soaked for 24 h in advance. Soil samples in cups are fetched on the seventh day, the twenty-first day and thirty-fifth day after seed germination, namely exposure of OTC. Measurement analyses are made to urease and catalase activities.
