Embodiment 1

[0030] 1. Construction of experimental groups

[0031]The research pig group in this example is the Duroc×Erhualian F2 resource group, and the outbred line F2 generation is used to design, and the F0 generation consists of 8 unrelated Duroc boars (foreign blood-related pig breeds, commonly used breeds, Central China Agricultural University experimental pig farm) and 18 Erhualian sows (Chinese local pig blood breed, commonly used breed, Huazhong Agricultural University experimental pig farm), F1 generation 13 boars and 38 sows avoid close relatives (all pigs) Siblings or half-siblings) mating. All F2 generations are the first litters of F1 sows, and the group pedigree records are detailed. The pigs have free access to food and water, and the entire feeding method and feeding conditions are always consistent, which is a conventional method.

Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of preparation of livestock molecular markers and particularly relates to single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) molecular markers related to pig effective teat pair number traits and application. The SNP molecular markers are obtained through genome-wide association study, and nucleotide sequences of the molecular markers are shown in SEQ ID NO: 1-2 and figure 2-3 respectively. A corresponding haplotype that is shown in figure 4 is obtained through haplotype analysis by means of obtained SNP. The markers and the haplotype can be used for pig effective teat number molecular breeding.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of livestock molecular marker preparation, in particular to SNP molecular markers related to the logarithmic traits of effective teats of pigs and their application. Background technique [0002] As we all know, the lactation ability of sows has an important impact on the survival and growth of piglets during lactation. Under the condition of consistent nutrition and health levels, sows with more teats can suckle more piglets, thereby generating greater economic benefits. Many The number of teats is regarded as an important index trait when breeding pigs are selected for breeding. The number of nipples is a medium heritability trait, and the traditional breeding conditions are far from reaching our breeding goals. Trying to find trait-related molecular markers to assist breeding has become a major way to improve this trait. [0003] The number of teats is a discontinuous trait with moderate heritability, an...
