Abstract

The invention provides an H matrix construction method of an RS-LDPC two-dimensional product code and a slide truncation decoding method thereof in a communication system channel and in a decoding technology field. In two-dimensional product coding, firstly, RS code coding is used in a horizontal direction and then rate compatible LDPC code coding is performed in a vertical direction. An RS code of the horizontal direction eliminates an error flat layer problem existing in the LDPC coding. The LDPC code of the vertical direction constructs a check matrix and can uses a slide truncation decoding mode to reduce participated decoding code words in a high signal to noise ratio area so that time delay is reduced.
