Embodiment Construction

[0014] Electronic devices may include various electrical and mechanical components interconnected by circuit boards, connectors, and other physical structures. Acoustic noise that can be heard can originate from any of these components, so localization of the noise source is particularly important.

[0015] Usually, noise frequency is measured using motion sensor input and microphone input, and various existing electrical input measurement methods can be used to collect the frequency content of electrical signals. More specifically, microphone input may be obtained from a circuit device such as a microphone, and motion sensor input may be obtained from a device such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, etc. in the circuit. A spectrum of the captured audio signal is thereby generated. Since the sampling of the frequency spectrum of the electrical signal is not the focus of the present invention and has been widely used in the prior art, it will not be repeated here.

Abstract

Provided in the invention is a method and system for diagnosing a circuit fault based on acoustical measurement. With the method and system, phenomenon of virtual connection and loosening of the circuit can be determined accurately. A noise source is determined based on association and matching of a noise frequency and an electrical signal frequency and a circuit connection unit or computer corresponding to the noise source is further determined; and a noise map of the noise source is monitored to monitor an abnormal loosening situation of the corresponding circuit connection unit. On the basis of the technical scheme, whole-course monitoring of the circuit can be realized based on noise signal measurement; and the cost is low. Besides, a database with abundant resources can be formed based on computer collection and comparison and can be used for determining circuit faults accurate in future. And a self-learning capability of the database is also provided, so that the determination time is substantially saved and the system performance is optimized.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of acoustic measurement, in particular to a test for noise in a circuit and a method for diagnosing circuit faults by using the test. Background technique [0002] The virtual connection phenomenon of the circuit is a common problem in the actual use of the circuit. Since the voltage drop between the two ends of the loose electrical connection is relatively small, it is difficult to judge the fault of a loose virtual connection by monitoring the voltage drop at each electrical connection. After years of exploration, people have provided a variety of ways to solve the problem of virtual connections caused by loose circuits, such as the widely used infrared imaging scanning technology, but this method cannot provide continuous detection and monitoring, but is limited to only detecting visible joints, and the operator has to be exposed to potentially harmful conditions during execution. Another way is to use temperatur...
