Abstract

The present application refers to a dispensing device (10) for holding and dispensing strip-like objects, like test strips for analyzing a sample of bodily fluid, the dispensing device (10) being configured to hold a stack of strips (16). The dispensing device (10) includes a container portion (12) for holding the stack of strips (16) and a dispenser portion (14) for dispensing strips from the dispensing device (10), one at a time. The dispenser portion (14) comprises a movable element (15) for applying a rotation motion to a strip (17) to be dispensed, from a first orientation, in which the strip (17) is enclosed in the dispensing device (10), to a second orientation, in which the strip (17) is at least partially exposed.
