Provided, in one or more embodiments, is a polyamide solution which is capable of suppressing whitening when applied to a glass substrate. In one aspect, the present invention relates to a polyamide solution which comprises an aromatic polyamide and an amphiphilic solvent. In other aspects, the present invention relates to a polyamide solution which comprises an aromatic polyamide, an amphiphilic solvent, and an aprotic polar solvent. In other aspects, the present invention relates to an aromatic polyamide solution for producing a display element, optical element or lighting element.
