Abstract

The invention discloses a radio frequency signal source for processing abrupt changing signals and a radio frequency signal source capable of reducing signal leakage. The radio frequency signal source includes a digital frequency synthesis unit, a first switch, a high frequency unit, a low frequency unit, a second switch, an attenuation unit and a control unit. The control unit is used for controlling the first switch to connect the output end of the digital frequency synthesis unit with the input end of the high frequency unit or the input end of the low frequency unit, and controlling the second switch to connect the output end of the high frequency unit or the output end of the low frequency unit with the input end of the attenuation unit according to user settings. The control unit is also used for executing the following steps according to the low frequency-to-high frequency switching settings or amplitude switching settings of a user: 1) the control unit controls the attenuation unit to be switched to a maximum attenuation tap position; and 2) the control unit controls the attenuation unit to be switched to a corresponding attenuation tap position according to the setting information of the switching settings. Compared with the prior art, the radio frequency signal source of the invention can reduce signal abrupt change and signal leakage.
