The using method of the sonometer comprises the following steps of starting a corresponding query mode by a controller according to a preset rule; taking a parameter corresponding to the query mode according to the query mode; generating a corresponding driving signal by using a controller according to the parameter; and driving a corresponding circuit to run according to the driving signal. The multifunctional sonometer implementing the method comprises a controller, a starting module, a query module and a driving circuit, wherein the controller is used for controlling running of the sonometer; the starting module is used for starting the query module according to a preset rule; the query module is used for providing a detection function for the sonometer; the driving circuit is used for driving the sonometer to run; and the controller is respectively connected with the starting module and the query module through the driving circuit. Compared with the prior art, the multifunctional sonometer can meet listening test requirements under various conditions; and moreover, test accuracy can be good.
