According to the server heat dissipation method and device, the cooling liquid doped with the color materials serves as a coolant in the liquid-cooling device, therefore, on the condition that the cooling liquid leaks, a liquid leakage portion can be rapidly judged out according to the diffusion condition of the color materials, effective measures can be taken, the leakage problem of the liquid-cooling device can be rapidly and accurately solved, and the safety of the server is guaranteed.
