Abstract

The invention relates to a method for processing a substation configuration description (SCD) file. The method comprises the following steps: (1) reading the SCD file, and establishing a document object model tree based on the read SCD file; (2) reconstructing the document object model tree to generate a new structural tree which can be read and applied by a virtual terminal diagram generating tool; (3) reading, by the virtual terminal diagram generating tool, the new structural tree to generate a virtual terminal diagram; (4) uploading the generated virtual terminal diagram to an ftp (File Transfer Protocol) file server, selecting a certain virtual terminal diagram for displaying by a user, and loading the virtual terminal diagram from the ftp file server; or associating the generated virtual terminal diagram with secondary equipment / interval and storing the virtual terminal diagram into a real-time database after associating, and meanwhile, periodically refreshing the real-time state of the virtual terminal diagram; and (5) displaying the virtual terminal diagram and the state on a user interface. By adopting the method, the SCD file can be quickly and effectively analyzed, edited and displayed, so that relevant information in the SCD file can be applied.
