Abstract

The invention discloses a UV imaging corona detection system and method for a UAV. The system comprises a corona detection device, a ground device and a shot computer; the corona detection device comprises a UV light imaging unit, a visible light imaging unit, a power supply and control board and an image memory board; and UV light video signals obtained by the UV light imaging unit and visible light video signals obtained by the visible light imaging unit are input to the power supply and control board. The power supply and control board divides the collected UV light video signals into two paths, and also divides the collected visible light video signals into two paths. One path of UV light video signals and one path of the visible light video signals are input to the image memory board to generate split-screen video signals; and the other path of UV light video signals is input to an external synchronization interface of a visible light camera, and the other path of visible light video signals and the split-screen video signals are output to the ground device in the gated manner. The system can be used for tour inspection of the UAV. The method can realize all beneficial effects of the system.
