Abstract
The present invention relates to a novel fowl adenovirus and a vaccine thereof.
Description
technical field [0001] The present invention relates to novel poultry adenovirus and vaccine thereof. Background technique [0002] The disease called inclusion body hepatitis (Inclusion body hepatitis) or poultry adenovirus infection (Fowladenovirus, FAdV) is an infectious disease caused by 1 group of poultry adenoviruses (FAdV). FAdV belongs to the family Adenoviridae, and the genome (gemone) is composed of linear double-stranded (double-stranded) DNA without segmentation. There are 12 serotypes of poultry adenovirus belonging to group 1, which exhibit very different pathogenicity among them. The main serotypes known to be harmful to the chicken industry in Korea are type 4, type 8, and type 11. In the case of inclusion body hepatitis, most of the serotypes are found. In the case of type 4, it is known to be associated with Hydropericardium and is usually the most pathogenic. Adenovirus infection is a disease that causes death by infecting liver cells as the main target...
