The sealability detection method comprises the following steps: sealing a nozzle of the injection molding machine with a testing tool; driving a screw inside the injection molding machine to move from an initial position, such that the injection molding machine is at a material spraying state to obtain a fluctuation curve of a material spraying pressure of the injection molding machine with the positions of the screw; separating the nozzle of the injection molding machine from the testing tool, and recharging the injection molding machine; repeating the above steps in sequence, wherein spraying parameters of the injection molding machine are set to be identical in each measurement process; judging whether the sealability of the screw non-return ring of the injection molding machine is favorable or not according to the similarity of the fluctuation curves of the obtained multiple material spraying pressures along with the positions of the screw.
