According to characteristics of virtual machine migration, the present invention separately studies and explains three problems, i.e. selection of a to-be-migrated node, selection of a virtual machine in a node, and selection of a target node, takes system power energy consumption, CPU resources, memory resources and bandwidth resources into comprehensive consideration, and eventually makes a final choice by means of a probability roulette wheel. The method provided by the present invention is capable of improving stability of a cloud platform, and is beneficial for improving operating efficiency and reducing hardware loss.
