Abstract

The invention provides a projection input system. The system is operated in wearable equipment which is installed with a transmission device, a projection device and a sensor, wherein the wearable equipment is worn on the wrist of a user. The system comprises a transmission module, a projection module, a determination module and an execution module, wherein the transmission module is used for transmitting infrared rays through the transmission device; the infrared rays form an infrared plane above the hand surface of the user; the projection module is used for projecting a virtual keyboard onto the hand surface through the projection device; the determination module is used for sensing the infrared ray reflected by a finger through the sensor when the user operates the virtual keyboard on the hand surface by using the finger, so as to determinate the operation, carried out by the user, on the virtual keyboard; and the execution module is used for executing a function corresponding to the operation, carried out by the user, on the virtual keyboard. The invention furthermore provides a projection input method. Through the projection input system and method, the users can rapidly and correctly input data and commands to the wearable equipment.
