Abstract

This invention relates to liquid laundry compositions comprising (a) a surfactant, (b) a fabric softening anionic polysiloxane, and (c) a cationic polymer, wherein the anionic groups on the fabric softening anionic polysiloxane (one or more) are not located at a terminal position on the longest linear polysiloxane chain, wherein the weight ratio of polysiloxane to cationic polymer is from 5:1 to 1:1, and wherein the liquid detergent The composition has a pH of 6 to 10; and relates to the use of the composition for softening fabrics.
