Generally speaking, the present invention is a water-soluble copolymer film comprising a hydrolyzed copolymer of vinyl acetate and a second monomer, the resultant polyvinyl alcohol copolymer having a degree of hydrolysis, expressed as a percentage of vinyl acetate units converted to vinyl alcohol units, of from about 90% to 100%. The second monomer is preferably selected from the group of monomers having carboxylate functionality or sulfonate functionality. The resulting water-soluble copolymer film is disclosed for use in making pouches to contain a unit dose of liquid detergent, such as a liquid laundry detergent. However, it is an aspect of the copolymer film that film solubility is not significantly affected adversely by the detergent. Such film produces pouches having a greater storage shelf-life over prior art water-soluble film.

The invention is directed to aqueous liquid laundry detergent compositions for cleaning and imparting fabric care benefits to fabrics laundered therewith and to methods for preparing such compositions. Such compositions comprise (A) at least one textile-cleaning surfactant; (B) droplets of miscible silicones comprising both a polarly-functionalized, preferably nitrogen-containing amino or ammonium functionalized, polysiloxane component and a nitrogen-free non-functionalized or non-polarly-functionalized polysiloxane component; and (C) a perfume component comprising fragrant aldehydes and/or ketones or a pro-perfume capable of providing such aldheyde and/or ketone perfume materials in situ. Incorporation of a polarly-functionalized polysiloxane fabric care agent into liquid laundry detergent compositions by miscibly combining it with a non-functionalized or non-polarly functionalized polysiloxane minimizes the undesirable interaction such polarly-functionalized silicone material might otherwise have with aldehyde and/or ketone perfume compounds.

The present invention is a controlled delivery system that can be incorporated in hair, skin, and fabric care products such as shampoos, conditioners, hair styling products, lotions, creams, liquid laundry detergents, fabric softener, and other hair, skin, and fabric care products to effectively deliver a broad range of active agents and sensory markers onto the hair, skin, and fabric. A liquid laundry detergent dispenser for an automatic washing machine employs a reservoir that holds a quantity of the detergent sufficient for numerous wash cycles. An air/fluid chamber fills through a check valve from the base of the reservoir. To commence a dispense cycle, a timer circuit is actuated to run an air pump that supplies air under pressure through an air hose to the air/fluid chamber, and this displaces the detergent from the chamber and through a detergent dispense hose into the tub or drum of the washing machine. Disclosed are aqueous liquid laundry detergent compositions which are in the form of an externally structured aqueous liquid matrix having dispersed therein a plurality of visibly distinct beads. Such beads are prepared so as to be in the form of a liquid core surrounded by a semi-permeable membrane formed by interaction of a cationic polymeric material with an anionic polymeric material. The present invention relates to a multifunctional liquid laundry detergent. The multifunctional liquid laundry detergent comprises, by weight, 1-50% of an anionic surfactant, 1-40% of a non-ionic surfactant, 0-30% of a high molecular polymer, 0-2% of a sterilizing disinfectant, 0-0.5% of a fluorescent whitening agent, 0-10% of an acid-base regulator, 0-2% of biological enzyme, 0-0.5% of essence, and 0-0.0005% of a pigment. According to the present invention, the long chain of the high molecular polymer is adopted to adsorb and coat contaminants, a plurality of functions of stubborn stain removing, cross color preventing, cleaning, softness, static electricity resistance, and the like are provided, and the multifunctional liquid laundry detergent of the present invention is applicable for various clothing, linens, towels, and the like.

Methods of using such detergent compositions for laundering textiles.

Laundry treatment compositions having improved consumer acceptance e.g., in relation to phase properties and/or in relation to accomplishing high odor acceptance without over-perfuming. A liquid laundry detergent composition, comprising a non-enzymatic nitrogen-containing component that is capable of having a short-chain amine impurity, and comprising a solvent system capable of promoting dissolution of said nitrogen-containing component while minimizing the tendency of said solvent system to create amine impurity off-odors: wherein the composition comprises; the non-enzymatic nitrogen-containing component wherein said component is comprises less than about 10 ppm of the short-chain amine impurity; and the solvent system; and wherein the composition further comprises at least one of the following conditions: (i) the composition is substantially free of enzyme; (ii) the composition comprises a compatible enzyme preparation; (iii) the composition comprises an odor sweetener; (iv) the composition is substantially free of condensed phases which are capable of decomposing said non-enzymatic nitrogen-containing compound in the detergent composition to produce short-chain amine impurities; and/or (v) said non-enzymatic nitrogen-containing component is purified prior to incorporation into said liquid laundry detergent composition.

Liquid laundry detergent compositions are provided that show remarkable performance even though they utilize only eco-friendly ingredients and have a sustainability index of greater than 3. Some embodiments include a liquid laundry detergent composition comprising alkyl polyglycoside (APG) with fatty alcohol sulfate, at least two detersive enzymes, an enzyme stabilization system (e.g. borate and/or citrate and/or calcium salts), d-limonene or other natural essence, water and adjuvant. A unique liquid laundry detergent with enhanced stain removal capacity on bleachable stains is described that comprises linear alkyl benzene sulfonate, alkyl ether sulfate, alcohol ethoxylate, alkali metal silicate, polyacrylate, and optionally carbonate. The composition is remarkably effective at stain removal although the composition is entirely devoid of enzymes and the wash conditions devoid of any bleach additives.

Liquid laundry detergents having a specified surfactant system of naturally derived alkyl or hydroxyalkyl sulphate or sulphonate surfactant and mid-chain branched amine oxide surfactants having a desired viscosity profile.

The invention relates to the field of detergents and particularly relates to a three-effect liquid laundry detergent composition and a preparation method thereof. The three-effect liquid laundry detergent composition has the three effects of washing, softness and puffiness and comprises the following components: 0.02-15% of cationic softener, 0.01-10% of modified silicon oil, 2-50% of nonionic surfactant, 0.02-6% of enzymic preparation and 0.01-12% of enzymic preparation stabilizer. The preparation method comprises the following steps of: adding the nonionic surfactant into the heated deionized water, adding the enzymic preparation stabilizer, stirring while adding, and heating the mixture to 55-65 DEG C; adding the pre-molten cationic softener, stirring until the pre-molten cationic softener is completely dispersed and the system is uniform, and cooling to 45-55 DEG C; adding the modified silicon oil, stirring and uniformly dispersing, and cooling to 30-40 DEG C; adding the enzymic preparation, stirring to dissolve the enzymic preparation until the system is uniform; and complementing the deionized water, and uniformly stirring the mixture.

The invention belongs to the field of daily chemicals, and specifically relates to an antibacterial liquid laundry detergent, a preparation method and applications thereof. The antibacterial liquid laundry detergent comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 0.3 to 0.9% of composite antibacterial agent, 5 to 20% of anionic surfactant, 5 to 20% of nonionic surfactant, 0.05 to 0.5% of fluorescent whitening agent, 0.05 to 5% of chelating agent, 0 to 1% of pH adjuster, 0.1 to 1% of essence, and the balance being water. The composite antibacterial agent is prepared according to a mass ratio of 1:1-5 of nano silver to a plant origin antibacterial agent. The nano silver and plant origin antibacterial agent can generate a synergetic effect, the antibacterial activity is largely improved, and thus the bacteria can be effectively removed. Furthermore, the raw materials are easily available, the preparation technology is simple, the cost is low, and the preparation method can be applied to industrial production. The prepared antibacterial liquid laundry detergent is nontoxic, nonirritant, and environment-friendly and can be easily degraded by organisms.
