Abstract

The present invention discloses a prediction based low-power isolation address rollover request transmitting device. The device comprises a request unit, a target unit, and an arbitration unit. In the arbitration unit, an address comparator is used for comparing whether a request address has hit an address space of the target unit; an access trigger is used for, according to a comparison result of the address comparator and a prediction value output by a prediction unit, arbitrating whether an access request of the request unit can be transmitted to the target unit, and generating a final arbitration result; an address rollover controller is used for, according to the prediction value output by the prediction unit, gating or isolating the request address transmitted to the target unit; and the prediction unit is used for, according to request types, predicting the target unit hit in the access request, outputting the prediction value to the arbitration unit, and according to the comparison result of the address comparator in the arbitration unit and a corresponding prediction algorithm, correcting and updating the prediction value.
