Abstract

The method builds a background model in the form of a pixel value set on the basis of a first frame of a video image. In subsequent frames of the video image, the method chooses to rebuild or update the background model according to the type of a target pixel. Finally, the method counts the frequency of appearance of the target pixel as a foreground point of a corresponding frame of the video image and generates a moving target frequency thermal graph. When the background environment is disturbed, the background model is rebuilt or updated in the disturbed frame of the video image immediately by means of a corresponding updating strategy, which can integrate the interference of the background environment into the background model in time, so as to ensure the accuracy of the moving object extraction and further improve the accuracy of moving target frequency detection.
