Abstract

The invention discloses an extra phasor measurement unit (PMU) optimal configuration method based on a topological model and singular value decomposition. In situations that a zero injection condition lacks and a system model changes, the extra PMU optimal configuration method comprises the following steps of 1, building an equation between quantity measurement and state quantity on the basis of original configuration, and judging whether a matrix is in full rank or not; 2, acquiring a inconsiderable node by means of the singular value decomposition if the matrix is not in full rank; 3, separately configuring PMU according to the condition whether a common connection point exists in the inconsiderable node or not; and 4, acquiring all extra configuration until no inconsiderable node is generated. The inconsiderable node is acquired by means of the singular value decomposition, complicated topological analysis is avoided, meanwhile, only the inconsiderable node is considered, the number of node analysis is reduced, the configuration flexibility is also improved, the configuration redundancy is improved, and the configuration speed is increased.
