Abstract

According to the technical scheme, the method for smelting low-phosphor and low-sulfur molten steel with the converter includes the steps that waste steel is added, and molten iron is mixed in; bessemerizing is carried out for desilicication and dephosphorization, and pre-slag is discharged; bessemerizing is carried out for decarbonization; converter tapping is carried out; and slag-splashing for protection of the converter and slag pouring are carried out. By limiting the ratio of converter metal materials to slagging accessories and the sulphur content, bessemerizing is adopted for control over the desilicication and dephosphorization period and the decarbonization period, and the dephosphorization and desulfuration capacity in each stage of the converter is played. Through the early-stage slag discharging process and a method for controlling the slag discharging rate, melting meeting the requirements that w[P]<=0.0080% and w[S]<=0.0040% in the chemical components of converter tapping molten steel is realized.
