Abstract

The invention discloses a wireless sensor network data transmission method using an unequal network coding redundancy level. The lower network coding redundancy level is used at an area with much energy consumption near a base station, and the higher network coding redundancy level is used at an area with residual energy far away from the base station, so as to ensure high data transmission reliability. As end-to-end reliability of data sending to the base station is a product of reliability of every mode on a routing path, the method can effectively prolong the whole network service life and improve energy utilization efficiency while ensuring reliability and meeting requirements of application programs. While it ensures that the method of the invention has the same network service life with traditional methods, the network end-to-end reliability can be improved by at least 14.1%. And under the condition of ensuring that the method of the invention has the same network end-to-end reliability with the traditional methods, the network service life can be improved by more than 20% by using the method of the invention.
