Abstract

The invention provides a 3D printing method of metal assembly (1) comprising integrated glass fibers (3 3'). The method comprises: heating and liquefying (M1a) metal shaping materials (2a), performing layering deposition (M2a) of the metal shaping materials to a material layer, performing layering solidification (M3a) of the metal shaping materials (2a) in the material layer; and performing layering deposition (M3b) the glass shaping materials in the material layer. The metal assembly is formed by the deposition material layers. The metal shaping materials (2a) and the glass shaping materials are deposited to material layers to allow the glass shaping materials (2b) to form at least one glass fibers (3, 3') passing through the metal assembly (1). The present invention further provides a metal assembly comprising integrated glass fiber.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a 3D printing method for manufacturing a metal component comprising integrated glass fibers, and a metal component comprising integrated glass fibers produced using this method. In particular, the invention relates to a metal component comprising integrated glass fibers for use in the aerospace field. Background technique [0002] Although metal components including integrated fiberglass according to the present invention may be used in a variety of applications, these components and the problems solved will be described in more detail with respect to aircraft. [0003] In the field of modern aircraft construction, metallic components are often used as structural components in composite constructions. In some cases, aircraft fuselage panels are made of glass-fiber-reinforced aluminum (“glass-laminated aluminum reinforced epoxy”, ), ie a laminated composite (glass-fiber-reinforced plastic material) manufacture compris...
