Abstract

The invention discloses a CBTC inter-section CPE switching method and system and relates to a rail transit client device. CPE is provided with two SIMs, wherein the SIMs are associated with different IP address information. The method is characterized by, when the CPE switches from a trial section to an ahead section, or switches from the ahead section to the trial section, turning on an SIM mode switching switch of the CPE to power off the current LTE module, and then, switching to the other SIM; and finally, powering on the LTE module again and carrying out network attachment. The method and system can greatly reduce complexity in switching between the ahead section and trial section of the CPE, and reduce switching process time; the physical isolation is higher; safety is high; and the method and system have an important market value.
