A manchu handwritten recognition device, relating to a pattern recognition technology, using to solve the problem of, because of the particularity of the manchu, owning only a single feature without a certain degree of noise immunity, the keys of the technology are: a first dimension reduction module, which is configured to reduce module dimension of manchu eigenvalue by using LDA linear discriminant analysis method, so as that the eigenvalue of manchu can be obtained; a first classification module, which is configured to classify the manchu eigenvalue by using k-nearest neighbor method so as that the manchu alphabets of the manchu alphabet image can be obtained. The effects are: on the one hand, reducing the dimension and improving the classification efficiency, on the other hand, distinguishing more easily to the manchu alphabet after dimension reduction.
