Abstract

The invention relates to a method for calculating oil saturation of oil deposit. According to the method, special value of pore throat radii at different positions can be obtained by simulating porosity-permeability-throat relations among porosity, permeability and pore throat radii under different mercury intrusion saturations. According to the feature value, rock core samples are classified and relations of porosity-permeability of each rock core are established. Finally, oil saturation of oil deposit can be obtained according to relations of porosity-permeability, porosity-permeability-throat relations and a Thomeer model. By utilizing the method for calculating oil saturation of oil deposit, more accurate value can be obtained.
