Embodiment 1

[0018] This embodiment provides a method for improving soil by applying biochar, including the following steps.

[0019] Step 1. Add 10g of biochar to every kilogram of dry soil, and bury it together with the basal manure in the soil plow layer 12cm before the crops are cultivated.

[0020] Step 2, ensure sufficient water during the growing period of crops.

[0021] Step 3. Spray pesticides to prevent pests and diseases on a quarterly basis. In this example, the application of biochar promotes the transformation of the microbial community structure towards plant growth-promoting bacteria, which can also effectively increase plant biomass and enhance plant resistance to diseases.

[0022] The pH value of the biochar is 10, the mass fraction of C is 51%, the mass fraction of H is 2.6%, the mass fraction of N is 1.2%, the mass fraction of O is 45%, and the mass fraction of S is 0.4%.

[0023] The raw material of the biochar is wheat stalks, which are produced by pyrolysis and c...

Embodiment 2

[0030] This embodiment provides a method for improving soil by applying biochar, including the following steps.

[0031] Step 1. Add 12g of biochar to every kilogram of dry soil, and bury it together with the base manure in the soil plow layer 13cm before the crops are cultivated.

[0032] Step 2, ensure sufficient water during the growing period of crops.

[0033] Step 3. Spray pesticides to prevent pests and diseases on a quarterly basis.

Abstract

A method for improving soil by applying charcoal comprises a first step of adding 8-12 g of charcoal to every kilogram of dry soil, and before crop cultivation, turning over the dry soil together with a base fertilizer to 10-15 cm of a soil plough layer; a second step of guaranteeing moisture sufficiency during a crop growing period; and a third step of spraying pest and disease control pesticides quarterly. The pH of the charcoal is 10, the mass fraction of C is 51%, the mass fraction of H is 2.6%, the mass fraction of N is 1.2%, the mass fraction of O is 45%, and the mass fraction of S is 0.4%. According to the method for improving the soil by applying the charcoal, the adopted charcoal has rich micro-pore structures and physical and chemical properties, is large in specific surface area, has rich surface functional groups and is high in adsorption capacity; the soil cation exchange capacity can be improved, more nutrient ions are adsorbed, nutrient loss is avoided, and thus soil fertility and fertilizer utilization rate are improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of agricultural technology, in particular to a method for applying biochar to improve soil. Background technique [0002] Biochar usually refers to a carbon-rich product produced by the incomplete combustion of biomass under anoxic conditions based on the biomass resources that exist widely in nature, using specific carbonization technology. Common biochars include straw charcoal, charcoal, peanut shell charcoal, etc. Biochar has extremely low solubility and has a highly carboxylated and aromatized structure. After carbonization, biomass has large porosity and specific surface area, and strong adsorption capacity , and become an ideal material that can be applied in agriculture, industry and other fields. [0003] Archeology in the Brazilian Amazon River Basin found that soil productivity with biochar is much higher than that of surrounding areas without biochar, and biochar can remain in the soil stably. This findin...
