Abstract

The invention relates to a new purpose of large-leaf yellow tea, namely an application of large-leaf yellow tea in preparation of blood lipid reduction health-care products and medicines. The application disclosed by the invention shows that the large-leaf yellow tea has remarkable effect of reducing blood lipid, and besides, type II diabetes model mice indicate that the large-leaf yellow tea has better efficacy of reducing blood lipid than an aqueous extract. The invention aims to provide a theory basis for medicine workers to apply the large-leaf yellow tea in the blood lipid reduction health-care products or blood lipid reduction medicines.
