Problems solved by technology

Although high-alloy steel balls have good wear resistance, since most of the high-alloy ball milling steels are die-cast, the production efficiency is low and the cost is high, which cannot meet the market demand at all. A new type of high wear-resistant steel ball with low alloy content and suitable for large-scale industrial production

Abstract

The invention discloses high-hardness steel for a wear-resisting ball. The high-hardness steel comprises the following chemical components by mass percent: 0.55% to 0.70% of C, 1.65% to 1.90% of Si, 0.60% to 0.80% of Mn, 0.025% or less of P, 0.025% or less of S, 0.020% or less of Al, 0.60% to 0.90% of Cr, 0.03% or less of Ni, 0.02% or less of Mo, 0.025% or less of Cu, 0.020% or less of As, 0.020% or less of Sn, 0.004% or less of Sb and 0.0025% or less of Pb, and the balance being Fe and impurities. The invention further discloses a production method of the high-hardness steel for the wear-resisting ball. The steel for the wear-resisting ball is low in production cost, uniform in steel quality, high in purity and good in abrasion resistance.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention relates to metallurgy and metal material technology, in particular to a method for producing steel for high-hardness and wear-resistant ball materials. Background technique [0002] As the main product in the wear-resistant casting industry, wear-resistant balls occupy the first place in wear-resistant castings. They are widely used in material grinding production links in metallurgical mines, building materials and cement, thermal power generation, magnetic materials and other industries. The sustained and rapid economic development promotes the continuous development of my country’s mining, building materials, cement, and electric power industries. The construction of major projects such as large-scale water conservancy projects, high-speed railways, and large-scale affordable housing projects has made mining, building materials, cement, and thermal power generation The demand for grinding balls and segments has increased significantly.
