Abstract

The invention relates to a device for preparing graphene from platinum wires and graphite cake. The device comprises a container, a platinum wire fixing plate, expanded graphite worm cake, a weak acid electrolyte, a power source, a conductive metal mesh and a plurality of platinum wires, the expanded graphite worm cake is inserted into the bottom of the container, the container is filled with the weak acid electrolyte, and the platinum wires are vertically welded to the inner surface of the platinum wire fixing plate. The device fully utilizes an electrolysis principle. Through continuous electrolysis of the expanded graphite worm cake based on the conductive metal mesh, expanded graphite is stripped layer by layer in the electrolyte. Through continuous electrolysis of the platinum wires, the expanded graphite worm cake is fully stripped by electrolysis. After electrolysis, the filter cake is cleaned, filtered and dried so that required graphene is obtained.
