Embodiment Construction

[0024] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments.

[0025] As shown in the figure, the mandible motion simulation method based on cone beam CT in this embodiment includes the following steps:

[0026] 1) Scan the patient's head through cone beam CT, and reconstruct the patient's skull, three-dimensional graphics of the maxilla and three-dimensional graphics of the mandible in the computer;

[0027] 2) Export the skull three-dimensional dicom file obtained by cone beam CT scanning, and open the dicom file in a three-dimensional modeling software;

[0028] 3) In the 3D modeling software, find out the inner poles of the condyles on both sides on the 3D graphics of the mandible, and find out the bilateral glenoid fossae that match the inner poles in the 3D graphics of the maxilla. The inner poles of the condyles allow the condyles A unique fulcrum for rotation about a fixed axis;

[0029] 4) construct the ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a cone beam CT-based lower jawbone motion simulation method. The method comprises the steps of 1) scanning the head of a patient through cone beam CT to reconstruct a three-dimensional graph of the skull of the patient; 2) exporting a skull file obtained by cone beam CT scanning, and opening the file in three-dimensional modeling software; 3) finding out inner poles of condyli on two sides of a lower jawbone graph and two-side glenoid fossea matched with the inner poles in an upper jawbone shape in the three-dimensional modeling software; 4) constructing a hinge axis for rotation of the lower jawbone in the three-dimensional modeling software, wherein an axial line of the hinge axis coincides with a straight line for connecting the inner poles of the condyli on the two sides of the lower jawbone graph; 5) in the three-dimensional modeling software, simulating a movement of rotation around the hinge axis when the lower jawbone is opened; and 6) in the three-dimensional modeling software, simulating forward stretch and lateral movements when the lower jawbone performs a chewing movement. According to the method, the problems of complex operation of a mechanical solid dental articulator, low simulation precision and need of consumables such as steel, gypsum and the like are avoided, and the movements of the lower jawbone can be accurately simulated.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of an articulator, in particular to a method for virtual simulation of mandibular movement. [0002] technical background [0003] In the process of mandibular movement, when the mouth is opened slightly, the mandible rotates around the line connecting the inner poles of the bilateral condyles of the mandible as the center line, and during the large opening and chewing movements, the mandibular condyles not only rotate but also slide , the centerline of rotation during rotational movement is still the line connecting the inner poles of the bilateral condyles of the mandible, and the mandibular condyles move forward and laterally along the shape of the glenoid fossa during sliding. The articulator is an instrument that imitates the upper and lower jaws and temporomandibular joints of the human body, thereby fixing the upper and lower jaw models, and simulating the rotation and sliding of the mandible to a cert...
