Abstract

The invention provides a simple online transmission line fault positioning and monitoring system, which comprises a fault detector monitoring a transmission wire. A sphere body is arranged in the fault detector, and the sphere body comprises two hemisphere bodies capable of being opened or closed; the fault detector is provided with a first current transformer and a second current transformer, and each current transformer uses a Rogowski coil which can be opened along with opening of the two hemisphere bodies and closed along with closing of the two hemisphere bodies; when the first current transformer is closed, the first current transformer surrounds the outer side of the wire for power taking; when the second current transformer is closed, the second current transformer surrounds the outer side of the wire for transmission parameter sampling; and the fault detector is provided with a communication unit, and data obtained when the fault detector monitors the wire transmission parameters are transmitted outwardly.
