Abstract

A novel wind direction self-adaption wind turbine with wind deflectors comprises a novel wind turbine tower drum. The windward side and the leeside of the tower drum are each provided with one vertical wind deflector. One of the wind deflectors can break wind on the windward side, and the other wind deflector can break vortex on the leeside. The bottom of the tower drum is connected with a lower foundation through a rotary device. The tower drum, the wind deflectors and an upper structure of the wind turbine are controlled through a yaw system. The rotary device rotates at the bottom of the tower drum in a wind direction self-adaption mode.
