Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of electric power system stability analysis and control, and particularly relates to an electric power system energy function optimization and transient stability margin evaluation system and method. The system comprises a data acquisition and processing module, an LMI calculation module, an energy boundary factor calculation module and a control strategy module which are sequentially connected. The method comprises the steps of proposing a Lyapunov function cluster suitable for transient stability analysis in allusion to an electric power system structure preserving model; building three different types of simplified Lyapunov functions and comprehensive characteristics and stability boundary of the three types of functions; considering a network structure and a system state, defining a comprehensive stability index energy boundary factor (EBF) for the Lyapunov function, and applying the comprehensive stability index EBF to online failure severity dynamic sorting and control strategy optimization so as to realize early warning for the safety of an electric power system. According to the invention, evaluation can be performed on the system quickly and effectively, and a reference is provided for system vulnerability quantitative evaluation and online prevention control.
